Max has light brown hair and blue eyes. He is considerably tall and built like an athlete. He is not especially handsome, but he has the look of someone who takes care of his appearance, and has an easygoing charm which accompanies his carefully groomed look. He usually dresses casually but expensively, in designer label clothes, and is often seen carrying a camera.
In his Lupus form, he is a large black wolf, and in Crinos is a hulking black mass of claws, teeth, and muscle.
Max usually speaks with a distinct Bayern accent, although he makes an effort to use standard German words and expressions, he has a habit of slipping into his barely-understandable southy accent.
