The first thing most notice about Hands of Mercy are his scars, claw-like marks which cover his body in all forms and make him appear quite disturbing in most circumstances. Many think these scars are the marks his heritage have placed upon him. They are wrong. A closer look will reveal that, in homid and glabro, his hands and feet are nearly devoid of nails, and in the remainder of his forms, he has no claws whatsoever. In his furred forms, his pelt is a very dark brown, and grows patchily between the aforementionned scars. In his homid form, he stands reasonably tall at 6', quite an imposing figure. He habitually wears simple, hard-wearing clothing, and carries a single long case across his shoulder. The case is embroidered with runes and glyphs and contains both his arrows and his Fetish hunting bow, Forest's Hunger.
