There is a hole in his head where his right eye used to be, which he covers up in public using an eye-patch. In the confines of the Caern he wears the battle-scar in plain view. In his birth form, he is a large black jackal with yellow eyes. In the Umbra, Danny grows large white-feathered wings, a gift from his totem, Owl.
